why? raspy voices are indicative of vocal nodules, which are extremely difficult to get rid of, or many other conditions in which vocal fold abuse has occured. Loudness can actually be the cause of many of these conditions. When your voice has a change like you describe, there has been a change to the membrane of the vocal fold. As a Speech language pathologist, I can not warn you enough against this plan.
Why would you want to make your voice "raspy"?? Raspy voices are damaged vocal chords. Not something that can really be fixed once you've done it.
Your voice is what it is. See a voice therapist if you are having problems.

Actors and actresses make their voices that way by screaming. I read an article once where an actress said her vocal coach took her to the grand canyon and made her scream across it for several hours a day for a few months. essentially you are scarring your vocal cords, so when the air moves across it it makes the voice raspy because of the unevenness. i doubt you'll want to go to the grand canyon, but you can try screaming into a pillow to cover the noise.

Why on God's earth would you want to make a kid sneeze? Surely there are other more educational and interesting activities you can share with your kid? Sneezing is caused by a nasal irritation, and if your kid doesn't have any nasal irritations, then leave it.

You can make your eight your old sneeze by exposing him to dust. Simply go into a room you haven't yet cleaned and move something dusty. Now spray it with cleanser. Make your child clean it. The exposure of the dust and the spray is sure to make him sneeze.

Do they got a bead or something stuck in their nose?? cause it could do more damage if you make them sneeze it out. get them to try and blow it out first and if they have swollen sinuses it could be damaging to their eyes!! NO JOKE: I know a man who had a bad bad sinus cold and he was farming in the middle of nowhere. well He sneezed or blew his nose or something and his eyeball popped out of it's socket!! His eye was hangin down on his cheek Seriously it did. he drove himself to his house and called 911 they put the eye back but he has headaches and blurry vision now. The best way is not to smoke, drink or take illegal drugs all of which will destroy brain cells. Now to help develop more, exercise you brain by working puzzles like circle a word, crossword etc. Read a lot of books that make you think. Doing mathematical problem solving also helps to exercise your brain. Eat a healthy diet of fruits, whole grains, greens and veggies. Cut back on soda, junk foods, sugar and fats.
Simple answer to your question: Keep using them!
Do crosswords, Su-Dokus, memory training exercises. There are so many things. The more you do, the lesser the rate of decay!
You could try using less of them and not asking stupid questions i've also heard that doing drugs is bad for brain cells. Don't drink, head bang, use drugs, participate in violent sports.. those sorts of things.. fish, along with a healthy diet will help. Good luck.

There is nothing wrong with being short, I am in my 20's and am only 4'10''. You still have time to grow, just be patient, and if it doesn't happen them make the best of the situation. Just because you are short doesn't mean you can't do things you want. I became a firefighter even though everyone said I wouldn't make it because of my size. Be proud of being short, there are actually alot of advantages to it. :-)

Oh ok, (not really sure what RAF stands for) are you talking the Air Force Reserve? Or someother military branch? If so then you can still get in, they have a height waiver. I know because at one time I was going to join the military and they were telling me that I may have to have a height waiver. No big deal. :)

You can't just get the cold or the flu. You have to be exposed to the virus and then it takes a couple of days for the virus to cause a cold or the flu in your body.
