Having my arm restrained for a Blood Test. What will happen ?

Have a phobia of needles, so freaked last time i had blood drawn.
I pulled arm away from the needle - so didn't get my bloo drawn
How will the nurse restrain it ?Having my arm restrained for a Blood Test. What will happen ?
The only danger a needle can cause is if it is injected at the wrong angle or depth, which can happen if you pull away. I know it can be a frightening experience. Warn the nurse or lab person ahead of time that they will need to restrain your arm and it should not be a problem. Best Wishes!!!!

I feel for you,I too am petrified of needles.When I have to get a blood test,I ask to lay down.I find that if I can't see the needle coming at me,I am fine.When I am sitting and see it coming for me,I freak and pull away too.It wouldn't hurt to take a friend along to hold your arm,I used to do that all the time.
