i have this problem, no matter how little sleeep I've gotten the last night, how tired i feel during the day, when night comes, i just cant fall asleep! i only feel a bit tired, and when i try to sleep, i cant!! i think its anxiety, but my dad says its cause i dont get enough physical activity. which one of us is right?Fitness of anxiety?
If your head races at night, then anxiety is probably your best answer as to why you cannot sleep. I suggest you read a book to get your mind off of daily "stuff" that worries you. Also, if you are 21 or older, a glass of wine will help. If younger than 21, a glass of milk may help. I suggest you learn to detach from that world "out there" and slow your mind down. Then read a bit and you will naturally fall asleep. If you have more problems, consult a counselor who can help you address the issues that cause you anxiety.
I have that same problem and I get bad head aches....I take Advil PM to sleep....talk to the doc if you are going to take it for longer than 2 days though...I did
