Flashing lights???

I was watching a movie just now and while watching it all of sudden I started to see these tiny flashes of lights before me. My head wasn't hurting but it seemed to surround my vision. Almost like little tiny stars flying from out of my eyes. Does anyone know what this is and why it happened? If I remember correctly it has happened before but not often and it only lasted a few seconds. I'm also 6 months pregnant and since being pregnant I've been straining my eyes a lot.Flashing lights???
Flashing lights may occur in normal healthy individuals often in relation to eye strain or sleep deprivation. However, it is also possible that they are manifestations of physical ailments. Examples of these (please note I am not suggesting you suffer from either of these) include migraine headaches and retinal injury.
If these symptoms become recurrent or if you are simply worried about them, please see your doctor.
Perhaps you were holding your breathe without knowing it. That can cause that affect (Light Headiness)
you should ask a doctor, not people online..! in those cases you shouldn't use the computer or watch TV..instead, sleep a lot. lack of sleep can cause anything..
that kinda thing happened to me a lot of times too. i think it's just that your eyes are tired..
probably just from the glare of the TV
the UFO's got you ! could be what they call tracers...happens now and then to everyone.....
