I run for my excercise pretty much every day. I have come down with a cold, and am not sure if I should continue to run or not. Should I rest my body to over come the cold. I missed last week of running because weather was awful all week, and I hate to miss more this week, but I also do not want my sickness to get worse.Excercising with a cold?
Yes, you should go out and run. However, you should make it a lower intensity workout. This training will help you speed up your metabolism and thus, help fight the cold.
On the other hand, a hard workout would fatigue your body and give the virus an opportunity...
You should give it a break!
If you have a fever yes if you don't than you try dayquil and run about half as much
You could run in place at home -- not as good a workout (and boring), but it's some exercise.
