My aunt has an Aluminum teapot. She made rooibos te in it and it caused red "marks". She then cleaned it out with pool chlorine to get rid of marks, but now AluminumChloride formed there instead!! How do we get rid of these marks safely? (Pot has sentimental valuen for her) And how do one use these pots safely in the first place?HELP!!! with getting rid of white AluminumChloride marks!!!?
Fill the pot with straight white vinegar.
Leave it overnight--the stains will be gone.
